In fear of not having time to blog before flying off next Sunday, here I am to write an entry.
Went out for dinner with Vanessa yesterday. Haven't seen her in the longest of time! Wanted to go to the usual okonomiyaki place at Cuppage Road, but it was not meant to be. The sign stated they open from 6pm-10pm. We reached at 6.10pm. It was closed still. C'mon I thought Japanese are impeccably strict with punctuality. D: Ended up walking to Prinsep Street to try a new place. Had okonomiyaki and takoyaki. I conclude I prefer okonomiyaki to takoyaki. :x As we ate, Vanessa told me a funny story that involved a guy crying in the toilet. No, I did not make a typo. A -guy- crying in the toilet over a trivial matter. How funny is that to you?
After dinner we had a craving for crepes. Walked back to PS to get. I dropped my half-eaten crepes as we made our way to Wisma Atria. Oh well, it tasted blah anyway. At Wisma Atria we bought drinks and fruits. My stomach was bursting with joy at the end of our food escapade. I noticed there were some lights installed on the floor along Orchard Road. What's up with that? They're distracting and they hurt my eyes. And you know the glass panels with the vegetation prints on them along the same road? I don't get those either.
Seemingly-pointless installations at Orchard Road aside, I wish ITP came to an end already. It's not that I dislike the office I'm working at; I just find the routine working life very, very dreary. I wake up at 7, leave the house at 7.45, reach the office at 9, have lunch at 12.30, return at 1.30, leave the office at 6.30, reach home at 7.45... Repeat for 5 days a week. I don't know if you can easily put up with that, but I'm having a hard time. Is this natural? I can't see where I will be standing after graduation.
Oh I watched LA Ink and London Ink last night. They sure are passionate about what they're doing.
