Mom's birthday today! And I came to school half an hour late, haha. Met Evan on the way to the studio. The studio was pretty empty... I was the only one at my table! Sad. I was damn unproductive... I have been since Wednesday. :\ Oops? After studio hours we had to go for a talk. It was about a study trip to DALI...an. Every time the person giving the talk mentioned the name of the place, I never fail to laugh mentally.

Ended up having lunch in school and came home at about 4. I felt exhausted and sleepy because I was busy being unproductive half the day. Took an uncharacteristic nap. Woke up at 7 to have dinner at Dempsey Road's Long Beach restaurant, for mom's birthday (if you forgot that already). Studio mates, don't kill me for this but at Dempsey Road I was looking out for interesting stairs for intech journal. There was none. And the interior of the restaurant didn't look as cool as the exterior does from the road. Hm. Anyway dinner was felt... fast. As usual I was the last to finish. Even for dessert. It's no secret, I'm the slowest eater among all of my friends and family.

After dinner we stopped by Holland Village (eek! site!) because dad wanted to get wine for his boss and workmates. Then he left to go drinking with them. Doesn't sound like my dad, haha. On the way home mom recalled her "holiday" experience in Nepal, Tibet and the likes. Made me want to travel... Not to those places though! Aside from Japan, I would like to go to... Switzerland maybe.

When I reached home I initially thought I could start doing detail drawing (okay no not really) but ended up watching Madagascar 2 with brother. That felt fast too! Before I knew it midnight came already. Movie was funny... The penguins are the best. :B

Well, today was a busy busy non-project-related day. There were so many updates. :0 Bless my mom's birth day.
