Adzlynn and I went for Start of Year at Ngee Ann Poly today. We only found out about the event the night before; thank you to my CCA vice-prez's MSN message! This shows that cosplay events' dates are not very close to our hearts at the moment. I made us arrive late, but guess what, the performance started late as well. So we managed to catch the daiko drums! It was nice, but the drummers were obviously not fed with enough rice. Then came the solo cosplay performances. Awkward and lame moments ran wild. I didn't see any particularly awesome cosplayers. I did meet Roycelyn though. :D She came in later than us and took a seat in the next row. Fated or what?

Oh and they played a number of Kagrra, songs. Yay to whoever was in charge of music!

I think I was artificially enthusiastic for SOY because I simply wanted to escape from doing work. Mission accomplished, but I still have to do work now otherwise I'm dead for submissions. Nevermind, there's Ouran vol 13 to look forward to. :D
