--- Valentine's Day ---

It was kind of boring and so I watched 3 episodes of Coffee Prince to entertain myself. Then later in the night Amylia sneaked up to my door and left Piglet with a cupcake there. She actually went to deliver her V-Day gifts herself. She's too nice! Thanks so much Amylia! Your cupcake wins my brownie. XD

Thanks for the Piglet too, now my Eeyore has a companion. :D

Karissa and pEna came over for a bit too, and it turns out that I have won the brownie bet after all. MUHAHA. I'm happy for you pEna!

Adzlynn's batch of brownies.

My batch.

All in all, I miss V-Day in St.Marg's...

--- Chingay DAY ONE ---

Had dental at 10. My teeth were due for cleaning. The cleaning process was, as usual, painful and rather bloody. But they played Transformers in the room, so that took my mind off the pain. A bit.

After dental I had to kill 3 hours worth of time. x_x First I went to Kino. Then I wanted to go to the library@Orchard but apparently it had closed down. ): So I went to Funan instead. Spent a long time at Challenger hunting for a nice pair of earphones. There was a cool pair of Sony ones, but they were the clip-on type. I can't stand those types. Now I have decided that I'll get the in-ear type. I found a nice pair and they look so cute. :D Then I went to a DVD shop and saw Moon Child VCDs on sale. ON SALE!!! I'm so hurt. Hyde and Gackt should be worth more than S$7!

Anyway then it was FINALLY time to report for Chingay. Some shit happened but whatever. Found out that one of my group members, Melinda, watches Hana Kimi AND is a Toma fan like me! Yay yay yay. We then had a sad dinner but things got better when we were assigned our duties. I get to play with a UV ray stamp!!! The bunch of us started stamping each other. Wooo. Our arms glowed blue/purple under the ray. 8D It's amusing to see people go "Huh? Where's the stamp?" too. XD

Fast-forward to the highlight of Chingay (in my opinion anyway): a roaring performance by an F1 car!!! Omgomg. We got to see it up-close. Sort of. The sound was deafening but it sure excited us!

About an hour before Chingay was supposed to end, my group was assigned another duty. Crowd control. DDx Personally I reaaally don't like it. You just stand by the kerb and face the audience awkwardly. But the good point about this duty is you're actually on the road and this means you're totally close to the performances! It was a tingling experience. :D

After we were done for the day, Adzlynn and I went to Raffles City Starbucks. Met Faris there! I figured he was still working there.

More shit happened during my journey home but WHATEVER because the return of my Moon Child DVD (which was lost in the mail for 2 freaking months) easily cancelled out the day's crisis. (:

--- Chingay DAY TWO ---

Had to go to the dentist again for a bit. And had to kill time again. So this time I went to HMV. They definitely improved the Japanese section a lot. I'm happy! After HMV I went to the central library to get in touch with my inner bookworm (who lives somewhere in me, but deep down). When it was FINALLY time to report, I was hungry already. Went to Raffles City basement in search of food and discovered gold. THERE'S J.CO DONUTS THERE OMGIWANTPLEASEKTHX. My life in Singapore is almost complete. Now I only need Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme to open up chains in this red dot of an island. *_*

After reporting for Chingay, my group started playing intellectual games. Gaha. I suck at them. "Fuzzy Wuzzy likes Adzlynn but not Anglia". Why Fuzzy Wuzzy why?? D:

We were then assigned our duties and my group gets to have the stamps again, yay! We sneaked taking videos and pictures of the car parade, F1 car act and fireworks. We also stole the chance to hold the clown's huuuge balloons. It was so cool! But then the scary supervisor called out all the people who had the balloons. I was so petrified that he was going to scold us so I gave it away to some kid. But it turned out he just wanted us to keep the balloons elsewhere first. -_-

Blah blah fast-forward to the end of Chingay: My group formed a reception party and said bye bye! see you next year! hope you enjoyed yourself! to the guests leaving while smiling and waving non-stop. I couldn't feel my hands after a while. o_o Strangely some people took photos of our crazy waving selves. Yay to the responsive people who actually waved back etc to us!

More blah blah, impromptu group photo, blah blah, dismissal. Adzlynn and I went to Starbucks again and this time we ordered fraps.

Faris upgraded my tall raspberry frap to a grande! Yay yay. :D

Well that's about it. I had a blast. <3 No photos yet bcs they're all with Adzlynn! Will add in the photos some time soon.

Btw! I have vowed to learn skating again. I was envious after seeing the Chingay logistics team cruise around in their skates! Wooo let's save up to buy a pair!
